David Hacking, P. Eng.

Partner, Senior Professional/Project Manager

David has 35 years of experience in the field of architecture and structural engineering. As a graduate of the Mohawk College of Applied Arts & Technology Architecture (1983) and McMaster University Civil Engineering (1987) programs, he has committed his career to the development and alteration of facilities in the municipal, public, and private sectors.  His ability to lead a team of engineers and technologists to successful completion on several projects in the greater Hamilton area is his greatest strength.

Duties:

  • Project development and strategic implementation of engineering scope of work from beginning to completion.

  • Preparation of budget construction costs, scheduling, detailed scope of work, permitting, meetings, and project coordination and delivery.

Carlo Lancia, P. Eng.

Partner, Designated Consulting Engineer, Senior Professional/Structural Engineer

Carlo has 35 years of experience in the field of structural engineering. As a graduate of the McMaster University Civil Engineering program (1987), he has committed his career to the design and alteration of facilities in the municipal, public, and private sectors.  His ability to lead a team of engineers and technologists to successful completion on several projects in the GTA is his prime focus and responsibility. His continued development and commitment in the field of structural engineering have been recognized by his peers, by being called as an expert witness on several projects.

Duties:

  • Project development and strategic implementation of structural engineering scope of work from beginning to completion. 

  • Lead design engineer, scheduling, detailed scope of work, meetings, and project coordination and delivery.

Michael Schor, P. Eng.

Associate, Senior Professional/Structural Engineer

Michael has 45 years of experience in the field of structural engineering. He has committed his career to the design and alteration of high-rise buildings in the hospitality, multi-unit residential, municipal, and private sectors. Michael is the engineer of record for several hotels and condominium projects in the Golden Horseshoe.

Duties:

  • Project development and strategic implementation of structural engineering scope of work from beginning to completion. 

  • Peer review professional and consultation for seismic analysis of high-rise structures.

Steve Pongracz, C.E.T.

Associate, Senior Professional/Development Engineering & Municipal Approvals

Steve has over 30 years of experience in Site Plan design with over 35 years of experience in the GTA area. As a graduate from Conestoga College of Applied Arts & Technology (1986), Mr. Pongracz has broadened his knowledge of the Municipal by-laws and Site Plan Approval process, from both the Planning and Engineering.  This experience minimizes conflicts during the review stages of the city departments and local authorities having jurisdiction.

Duties:

  • Responsible for Design and Project Coordination from the concept stage to construction, involving planning and design to ensure that the development conforms to local design guidelines.

  • Exercises project coordination with utilities, approval agencies, and sub-consultants. 

  • Involved in the technical review and coordination.

John Lamarre, P. Eng.

Consultant, Senior Professional/Civil Engineering & Storm Water Management

John has over 35 years of experience in the water resources engineering field. As a graduate of the McMaster University Civil Engineering program (1987), he is recognized as a leader in stormwater management design in the greater Hamilton area. Experience has been gained on a wide variety of water resource engineering projects including drainage studies and investigations, stormwater management design, hydrologic/hydraulic analysis, highway and railway design, and various other municipal engineering projects.

Duties:

  • Infrastructure, site development and strategic implementation of water resource engineering scope of work from beginning to completion.
